Delta Woolman Executive Lobby Renovation
Green Heart Enterprises was selected to lead the renovation of Delta Air Lines’ high-security Woolman Executive Lobby in advance of a formal rededication honoring former CEO Jerry Grinstein. The project involved full demolition and interior buildout of this critical space—home to Delta’s senior executives and frequent VIP guests—while maintaining full building access and minimal disruption to daily operations.
Due to the confidential and ceremonial nature of the project, our team worked behind temporary partitions and conducted much of the construction after hours. The scope evolved frequently and required adaptability across trades, coordination with Delta Corporate Real Estate, and consistent communication with executive support staff, IT, security, and catering teams.
A highlight of the project was the integration of a live-edge reception counter crafted from a red oak tree salvaged from Delta’s campus, paired with modern millwork, Cambria wall panels, and carefully concealed security elements. Historical features such as original terrazzo flooring with embedded Delta branding were protected and restored. Upgrades also extended to adjacent conference rooms, security systems, and ADA accommodations.
Despite tight timelines, evolving scope, and intricate design elements, Green Heart completed the renovation on time and within budget—delivering a secure, modern, and meaningful space for one of Atlanta’s most iconic companies.
